Patrick Krekel is the owner of RPM Diagnostics – a business which helps HVAC dealers only.

Patrick credits his success to a well-rounded career background. This includes management, problem solving, information technology, marketing, and lots of practical experience in the HVAC industry.

Pat is originally from Indiana. He received a degree in Business management from Indiana University in 1989. He then spent the next 18 years honing his skills in supervision, leadership, managing processes – and solving problems. The first 8 years was an aircraft maintainer in the United States Air Force. The next 10 years were in various management positions in corporate America.

In 2007, Pat then secured a position with Peachtree Service Experts in Atlanta Georgia – a division of Lennox International. During the next three years, he learned the HVAC business from the ground-up. He managed the company’s participation in the Home Depot “At Home Services” program. He then sold service agreements and roof top units to commercial customers. Afterwards, Pat became the operations manager in which he managed customer service and the company’s maintenance agreement program.

It was at this point in time that Pat acquired a lot of know-how about the systems dealers use to dispatch techs and invoice customers. He then used this know-how to draw much clearer attention to Peachtree’s customer loyalty situation, agreement situation, and performance of it’s 72 assigned service techs. This resulted in the recovery of many of it’s customers who had disappeared – and dramatically improved management of the agreement base. It also resulted in clearer than ever metrics about the returns of it’s huge investments in marketing.

Then before Lennox sold Peachtree to a private investment group, Pat launched RPM in 2010 – and has never looked back.

Pat and his family live in Valdosta Georgia. His favorite past times include participation in a local Toastmasters club – in which he is the VP of membership, reading good books, motorsports, traveling to new places and meeting new people.
